General Questions

Do you scrap boats?

No. However we work closely with Boatbreakers who are based in our Boat Scrapyard in Portsmouth. Boatbreakers will scrap and dispose of boats of all makes and models across the UK, Ireland and most of Europe. If you have an end of life boat that you need to get rid of then get in contact and the Boatbreakers team will be happy to help.

Can I request a specific item?

Yes. We prefer for people to email us if you’re looking for a certain part. That way we will save you a wasted journey. Also this means that if we don’t have the part in we can look out for it on all the future boats that come in.

Can I come and have a look around the yard?

No, Unless you have pre-arranged with a member of our team. The scrapyard is a busy dangerous yard which we don’t want member of the public walking around unattended. Obviously if you’re coming to look at a boat you want to buy or you’re picking up a larger item you are very welcome. But you must always make sure we know you’re on site. This way we can help you evade the attentions of the Scrapyard guard dog.

Where is the Boat Scrapyard Located?

We are located in Gosport. The full address is as follows: The Anchorage, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1LZ

Are all the items you sell second-hand?

Yes. We don’t buy any stock in to sell it’s all from the boats we have through our yard. However some of the items we sell are technically brand new as many are still in their original packaging.
